It's been a difficult fall which caused me to saturate myself in fun social environments (both of which makes me a lazy artist), and the last and final deadline for the chemistry book (which will be FINISHED on Monday, praise God) consumed all my otherwise art-time. Commissions
I will have THREE SLOTS open for November/December commissions and may add another if time permits. I am lowering my pride by saying I could really REALLY use the money. Please consider even just a sketch. I NOW HAVE PAYPAL, so if sending a check was an issue, it no longer is.

CHD
Please continue to find ways to support children and families who are dealing/have dealt with CHD (congenital heart disease) in memory of my nephew Charlie, who went to heaven due to HLHS on May 20:
  Check out "Saving Little Hearts" online, a care-package organization for CHD families.
  Support your local Ronald McDonald House. Do not simply give money, but give your time. They accept packed lunches, home-cooked meals, and canned goods.
  Support funding for research related to CHD. It's a terribly underfunded program, and every dollar will save future lives.
  Spread awareness of CHD with a drawing, painting, anything, as simple or complex as you care to make it. dA gets alot of attention, and it is possibly one of the best places to raise awareness for anything. Better still, note me with your art, and I will feature it on my journal.
