So I ruined a painting about a week ago for my show, and the devasation was...well, if you've ruined HOURS of work you've put into something YOU care about, not just for a grade, then you understand the pain and guilt and tears you experience. But there was nothin to do but climb back on the horse, and continue to sketch and paint with more gusto than before (and stick to pricey Arches paper.)

Due to weirdness, it looks like I'm going to be part of a local craft fair in less than a month. Now I have to make as many scoodies as possible by Thanksgiving weekend. What are scoodies, you ask? It's what happenes when a scarf falls in love with a hoodie! And why am I making scoodies? Because my jewelry is mediocre.

I tried making a pumpkin (with a drill to shake things up) but the bit was too small and thus the holes too small and Ineverfinisheditsothere! No time for pumpkins in this life, sigh. Thanks for voting anyway!
